Frequently Asked Questions
WHEN IS YOUR SERVICE?
We gather on Sunday mornings at 10:00 a.m. and usually end around 11:30 a.m.
We have a time of worship, a short break and then we hear the teaching of God's Word.
WHERE DO YOU MEET?
Saving Grace Church is located on Hospital Road in Indiana, PA,
about a half mile south of the IUP campus. If you are an IUP student who needs a ride from campus on Sunday morning, we have rides available from Folger Dining Hall at 9:45 a.m.
WHAT IS THE CHURCH ATMOSPHERE?
We have singles, families, college students, empty-nesters, seniors, and many children. You will find people in jeans and T-shirts, but also some wearing ties and everything in between.
After the service we fellowship and drink coffee in the lobby.
WHAT IS THE WORSHIP STYLE AT SGC?
We love to worship together. What's most important to us about our
worship is that whether it is a modern worship song or an older hymn, it is directed at Jesus.
WHAT DO YOU BELIEVE?
At Saving Grace Church, we are very excited about Jesus; His birth, life, death,
resurrection, and His Word are our focus. We know that when checking out a church it's important to know their beliefs, so you can find ours here.
WHAT ABOUT MY KIDS?
At SGC, kids are welcome to stay with their parents or visit our Children's Ministry, Kids' Cove. Kids' Cove is available to kids from age one through grade six. After the worship we take a short break around 10:30 a.m. At that time parents are invited to take their kids to their classrooms. More info about our Kids' Cove can be found here.
WHAT ABOUT MY INFANT OR TODDLER?
Kids ages 2-4 are welcome to join their classes right at 10:00 a.m. where they will have a special time of "Wiggle Worship". Moms who are looking for a private place to feed or change your baby are welcome to visit our Moms and Infants' room located next to our Kids' Cove. While you are there, you will also be able to hear the service.
